9'6" High Performance
High Performance is a generalisation that refers to most any board that requires more input from the rider. The board can have unusual rockers, concaves or a variety of fin set ups, one to four.
Design is leaner and meaner with more tail rocker and pinched, low, soft rails. You have to make this board go by moving your back foot further back and pushing the nose up into the face of the wave.
Shaped from either Surfblanks Green (lighter) or Surfblanks Blue (stronger) foams.
Stringer is usually sawn 12mm Obeche (white wood) though cedar or plywood can be used.
Glassed with 6 oz 'S cloth' top and bottom with a 6 oz warp cloth underlay on the deck.
Finish coated and polished to a high shine.
